The juvenile collection section is designed to support the students in the following programs:

  • Masters in Teaching
  • Masters in School Counseling
  • Masters in Educational Leadership
  • Masters in School Librarianship
  • Masters in Special Education
  • Masters in Elementary Education
  • Masters in Deaf Education
  • Gifted and Talented Education Specialist Certification
  • Writing for Children and Young Adults Certification

As such, the browsing collection for their studies is centered under the label of 'juvenile' texts, but includes young adult fiction to reflect resources for the entire K-12 age range. The collection is not meant for the public and is not available for checkout to community members in order to accommodate the needs of these students. All library guests under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult guardian.
