When using the Hoover Library catalog, the search setting defaults to Hoover-owned items only. To see items owned by Carroll County Public Library and Carroll Community College, change the Limit by field to All Libraries.

Change Limit by field to All libraries

When you find an item you wish to borrow, click on Place Request and select the branch where you would like to pick up your items. Certain items have borrowing restrictions – please see a reference librarian if an item you wish to borrow is listed as non-circulating.

McDaniel users: Hoover owned items that are currently available cannot be held for pickup. You will need to retrieve the item from the stacks. You may place a hold on an item if it is currently checked out to another patron. When the item becomes available, you will be notified and the item will be held at the circulation desk.

Carroll Library Partners (CCPL, CCC):  Hoover Library will transfer books to other branches for pickup; AV materials may not be borrowed from Hoover.
